About Member (M.IIESMS)

Member is the main professional grade for experienced practitioners who can evidence relevant qualification, experience and ongoing CPD.

The grade is assessed from the evidence supplied with the application. Typical evidence includes a relevant NFQ Level 8 qualification and three years of relevant professional experience.

How to Apply for Member

Follow these steps to apply for Member membership.

Review Requirements

Confirm that you meet the qualification (NFQ Level 8) and experience requirements for Member grade.

Prepare Documentation

Gather your qualification certificates, CV, professional references, and evidence of relevant experience.

Submit Application

Complete the online membership application form, selecting Member as your target grade. Pay the registration fee (EUR 15) and annual subscription.

Professional Review

Your application is reviewed by the Membership Committee.

Receive Designation

Upon successful review, receive your M.IIESMS designation, membership certificate, and access to your sector group community.

CPD and professional standing

Members complete 30 hours of CPD annually and should maintain evidence linked to their professional responsibilities.

CPD records should connect learning to the member's role, sector, grade and development needs. Members should retain evidence where available.

Fees

The annual subscription for Member grade is EUR 275. A one-time registration fee of EUR 15 applies when first joining the Institute. An optional IISE (USA) subscription is available at EUR 80 per year.

Fees are denominated in euros. For corporate account membership covering multiple employees, contact the Institute for consolidated billing arrangements.
