This page describes the award categories. It does not announce an open nomination round. Before preparing a nomination, ask IIESMS to confirm whether a call is open, its deadline, eligibility, evidence requirements and presentation arrangements.
Award Categories
Five discipline awards plus a cross-discipline President's Award.
Industrial Engineering Award
Excellence in process improvement, operational efficiency, lean systems, or manufacturing innovation.
Fire Safety Award
Outstanding contribution to fire safety practice, fire engineering, or fire risk management in Ireland.
Facilities Management Award
Excellence in building services, maintenance management, compliance, or workplace operations.
Safety and Health Award
Outstanding contribution to workplace safety, risk management, or occupational health practice.
Healthcare Award
Excellence in healthcare engineering, healthcare fire safety, or patient environment management.
President's Award
Exceptional cross-discipline contribution to the profession, the Institute, or public safety in Ireland. Any member eligible.

Contact IIESMS with the proposed nominee or project, the relevant award category and a short explanation of the contribution. The Institute will confirm the applicable nomination rules and any evidence required for the current round.
