Committee Membership Agreement and Commitment Statement(Required)

1. As a valued part of the Institute of Industrial Engineers and Safety Management Systems (IIESMS), the committee member agrees to promote the organisation professionally and ethically, recognising the mutual benefits this commitment brings. By adhering to high standards of conduct, the committee member enhances the organisation's reputation and contributes to its mission.

2. The committee member will actively work to expand the network within their relevant field of expertise. This includes identifying and connecting with potential members, partners, and stakeholders who can contribute to and benefit from the IIESMS community. Such efforts help to strengthen the organisation and increase its impact.

3. The committee member agrees to engage with the committee in developing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions certified by the CPD Standards Office. These sessions are designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of members within the committee member's field of expertise, ensuring continuous professional growth and adherence to industry standards.

4. The committee member also agrees to review applications for membership in the sector group to which they belong. This responsibility involves assessing the qualifications and experience of applicants to ensure they meet the standards required for membership, thereby maintaining the integrity and quality of the sector group.

5. As a token of appreciation for the committee member's active engagement and participation, IIESMS agrees to waive all registration fees.

6. IIESMS will not invoice the committee member for their membership fee until the date of appointment. This gesture underscores the value IIESMS places on the committee member's contributions and encourages continued involvement.

7. IIESMS allows the committee member to invite five (5) colleagues to join the sector group, waiving all registration fees for these new members. This provision helps to grow the sector group with like-minded, competent individuals, enhance the network, and foster a collaborative environment.

8.
